Copper(I) oxide mineral forming isometric crystals (octahedra, cubes, dodecahedra), deep red to red-black with a submetallic to adamantine luster. A fibrous/hair-like habit is called chalcotrichite; a massive/earthy habit is called tile ore — both are the same species, not separate minerals.
